About

Supporting and Empowering People with Disabilities to Advocate for Change in a World Built to Exclude Them

We Roll Ourselves is an online resource and informational website created by Iceis Augustino. Our purpose is to empower people with disabilities by giving them information and resources to create change in their communities. Additionally, we strive to bring awareness to the disability rights movement and the history of those before us. We didn’t get where we are without fighting for it, and during a time when the climate is ever-changing, we look to teach others, disabled and non-disabled, how powerful people with disabilities are. You can find informational material about the disability rights movement, different resources, guides to accessibility, a checklist for advocacy projects, stories from those with disabilities, and more. If nothing else we hope that people with disabilities are empowered to roll themselves forward because they are unstoppable.
